M.O.P.S. - Mothers of Preschoolers
What is M.O.P.S.?
MOPS is a non-denominational Christian organization open to all mothers with children from infancy to kindergarten.
MOPS helps moms - and MOPS makes the difference in the lives of families.
The purpose of MOPS International is to nurture every mother of preschoolers by meeting her distinct needs. This purpose is carried out in a variety of ways - through local MOPS groups and through MOPS resources.
What does MOPS offer?
An opportunity to meet with other mothers of preschoolers and receive encouragement and practical tips for surviving the preschool years.
MOPPETS, a program where little ones are nurtured.
An opportunity to make friends with other moms.
Teaching based on biblical values about mothering, womanhood, and relationships.
Discussion Groups where moms can express their thoughts and feelings in an accepting atmosphere.
A time to express creativity in a variety of activities.
Where can I find MOPS?
Currently, over 2.700 MOPS groups gather in churches throughout the United States, Canada, and eighteen other countries to meet the needs of over 100,000 women of all ages and backgrounds, sharing the same desire - be the best mothers they can be.
If you live in or near the Versailles area, MOPS holds bi-monthly meetings beginning in September and continuing through May.
